Oh our Nikki, our sweet, artsy, talented, cautious rule follower, and cooler than I will ever be. She was the first stylist we officially hired when opening Salvage Salon and to say that the bar was set high for the next interviews, would be a major understatement. I knew within 5 minutes of meeting her that I wanted to work closely with her. If there is a salon fire, just follow Nikki, she will make sure that you "STOP, DROP and ROLL". Nikki is just real. She has this really unique balance about her that I love. She is a little bit of a worry wart but in a good responsible way. She plays life safe but she is also the life of the party and pretty much down for a really good time even on weeknight:) She is down to earth and makes fun of herself all the time. She truly values her family, she loves cats, David Bowie, music festivals, healthy food ...and when this girl goes on a healthy cleanse, she sticks to her plan .
She is one of those hairstylists where the second you sit down in her chair, you just feel safe. She will listen to your needs and make sure you are ready for what you are asking for. She will naturally play it safe on your behalf but when you are ready for a big change she will listen to you and give you the look that you are asking for as long as you are ready and as long as your hair condition isn't being compromised. She really cares about the health of your hair and that is so important when finding a new hairstylist. Nikki is a really well rounded, talented hairstylist who loves her craft. Her consultations and communication are stellar and she is just a beautiful person with a sweet, sweet heart. My days are made when Nikki is working. She is strikingly cool and hands down the prettiest Salvage Sister. JK. Not kidding.
